    Bei BoardExperience Mainz habt Ihr die Möglichkeit die schöne Verbindung von Bewegung und Natur zu entdecken.

    Der Altrhein nahe Mainz ermöglicht unvergessliche Erlebnisse und die einzigartige Chance dem Alltag der Städte innerhalb von 10 Minuten zu entfliehen. Vom Wasser aus bietet sich eine einzigartige Perspektive auf die Natur und die Tierwelt.

    Neben klassichen Stand Up Paddling Touren die ein unvergessliches Naturerlebnis ermöglichen, besteht außerdem die Möglichkeit sSUP-Fitness Workouts und SUP-Ausdauertrainings zu buchen.

    Der Altrheinhafen von Ginsheim lädt nach einer sportlichen Betätigung ein die zahlreichen Sitzmöglichkeiten (Eisdiele, Cafés und Gaststätten) zu nutzen, um den Tag ausklingen zu lassen. Öffentliche sanitäre Einrichtungen gibt es nicht, allerdings können im Notfall die Betreiber der Gaststätten angesprochen werden. Ukleidekabinen sind ebenfalls nicht vorhanden, sodass die entsprechende Kleidung vorab getragen werden sollte.

    Am Rande von Ginsheim-Gustavsburg gelegen, ermöglichen ausreichend Parkplätze eine ideale Anreise mit dem Auto. Die Bushhaltestelle in der Nähe ermöglicht außerdem die bequeme Anreise mit den öffentlichen verkehrsmitteln.

    Über das Team

    Der Besitzer, Michael Decker, ist 32 Jahre alt und M. Sc. in Sport & Sportwissenschaft (JGU Mainz). Seit 2008 wohnt er in Mainz und kam durch das Studium der Sportwissenschaften zum Wassersport. 2012 legte er die Prüfung zum Windsurflehrer des VDS erfolgreich ab und ließ sich 2018 außerdem zum SUP Instructor beim VDWS ausbilden.

    Neben seiner Haupttätigkeit als Sportwissenschaftler in einem Rehazentrum bildet er außerdem seit 2013 die Sportstudenten der Johannes Gutenberg-Universität in Mainz, in den Windsurf- und Wassersportexkursionen als Mitglied des Lehrteams aus. Im Jahr 2018 gründete er BoardExperience Mainz, um Stand-Up-Paddling Kurse und Windsurffreizeiten für Jedermann anbieten zu können.

    Michaels Antrieb ist die Schönheit des Altrheins vom Wasser aus zu zeigen und Tiere und Natur auf eine neue Art und Weise zu entdecken. Außerdem sollen die Teilnehmer/innen die entspannende Wirkung der gleichmäßigen Bewegungen auf dem Wasser erfahren. Vor allem soll die Freude an der Bewegung grundsätzlich gefördert werden, sodass die Hemmschwelle Neues auszuprobieren sinkt. Jeder soll diese tolle Erfahrung machen können!

    Die einzigartige Kombination aus Sport, Entspannung und Natur findet man nur hier. Durch zertifizierte Ausbildungen und jahrelanger Erfahrung wird ein unvergessliches SUP-Erlebnis ermöglicht. Es können alle Könnensstufen teilnehmen, für Jeden ist das passende Angebot dabei.
    Parkplätze sind ausreichend vorhanden. Sanitäre Anlagen gibt es nur in den umliegenden Gaststätten. Außerdem sollte die entsprechende Kleidung bereits vorab getragen werden, da Umkleidekabinen nicht gestellt werden können. Sonnenschutz (Hut, Brille, Sonnencreme) und ausreichend zu Trinken sollte je nach Wetter ausreichend mitgebracht werden. Plane bei Deiner Anreise bitte ausreichend Pufferzeit für die Parkplatzsuche ein, an Sommertagen kann der große Parkplatz doch ziemlich voll sein.
    Die Ausrüstung wird von BoardExperience gestellt. Dort inbegriffen sind das SUP-Board, ein Paddel, eine Leash (bei Wunsch) und ein Restube Safety Tool. Auf Anfrage kann ebenfalls eine Auftriebsweste gestellt werden.
    Bitte melde Dich sofort bei uns und sag so früh es geht Bescheid. Evtl. findest du ja noch eine Alternative Person, die für Dich teilnehmen kann. Erreichen kannst du BoardExperience per Mail oder Telefon.
    Da es in den Sommertagen auch vermehrt zu Mückenflug kommen kann, sollte gerade zu den Kurse am späten Nachmittag sowie Abend unbedingt an Insektenschutz gedacht werden. Die Kurse können auf Grund von Regen, Gewitter, zu starken Wind oder Kälte ausfallen. Ihr werdet in einem solchen Fall so früh es geht informiert.
