the barre pilates is the first boutique Barre and Pilates studio in Mainz. Located just minutes away from Mainz Hauptbahnhof, we are nestled in the heart of the Neustadt (with incredible neighbors like N'Eis, Laurenz, Cremina, and Nonno Luigi - what more could you wish for in a community?) We focus on quality training, correct form, and have a lot of fun while doing it! Community is everything to us. We love the local vibe, but with an international flair - come as you are and build new networks (while building up your bootie!) klein aber fein - tiny but mighty. About the Team

Head Trainer Chilli has been using pilates as a conditioning tool for 20 years now (that's two-thirds of her entire life!) As an ex-ballet and contemporary dancer, pilates has always held a special place in her day-to-day routine. Australian-born and European-raised - she uses her tongue-in-cheek humour and a lifelong love for ballet to create a killer workout that will make you sweat, shake and possibly even swear - and then have you coming back for more!

Exclusive yet inclusive. Whoever you are, whatever level you are at, we want to welcome you and design something to make YOU feel incredible. Small intimate classes. One-on-one training. And no fads. Just good quality training based on Joseph Pilates’ traditional methods - just to way better music. 50 min classes all stemming from classical pilates training with a twist. Add a bit of Ballet, maybe a HIIT workout here and there, throw on some amazing tunes and you’ve got the perfect recipe for an intense workout that leaves you feeling incredible (and possibly a bit sore the following day) Pilates is an ever-growing trend in the fitness industry because of its simple, repetitive movements designed to create muscular exertion. Low-impact and highly adaptable: pilates is a safe method for toning and strengthening your body. But don't take our word for it - you'll see what the hype is about once you're on the mat!
We love newbies! If you've never done Pilates before: WELCOME! We're so excited for you to join the pilates club! We recommend choosing one of our basics or beginner classes to start off. Please arrive 10-15 minutes before class. There is a changing room and a safe place to store your belongings however there are no shower facilities at the moment. Please respect our other visitors. Be punctual as lateness can disturb the rest of the class for others. Late arrival may result in refusal of entry (with no refund)
Please bring socks and a water bottle - all mats, sweat towels, and equipment are provided.
We have a 24-hour cancellation policy. We understand that things get a bit chaotic sometimes, however, if you find yourself having to cancel within a 24-hour period, we would kindly ask you to remove yourself from the class list via Eversports in order to free up a spot for those on the waiting list (the hype is real y'all!) If you don't cancel, you may acquire restrictions on booking classes in the future.
Please let your trainer know prior to class beginning of any injuries or pregnancies. Pregnancy-safe classes are listed. Please take note when booking, which classes are suitable for you. While our classes are excellent for strengthening bodies and preventing injuries, please note that this is not a rehab class. While due care will be taken to provide alternatives and variations, this is still a group class. If you do require a little more attention, perhaps a personal training session is for you. All visitors are solely responsible for doctor clearance for previous injuries/post-natal.
