Zen Yoga by Dynamic Mindfulness is English language yoga studio in the heart of Berlin, right beside the invigorating open space of Gleisdreieck Park. Zen Yoga offers contemporary yoga classes, meditation, and teacher training programs rooted in Zen Buddhism and informed by the latest movement science and biomechanics. The offer includes a music-free space during the yoga classes in order to nourish receptive attention. Classes are limited to 15 participants and people of all ages, sizes, and backgrounds are welcome!

Tatjana Mesar, Founder of Zen Yoga by Dynamic Mindfulness is an experienced yoga and meditation teacher and a creator of Dynamic Mindfulness, a contemporary yoga style rooted in Buddhist wisdom and informed by up-to-date movement science. Tatjana has been practicing Yoga and Buddhism for two decades now and teaching since 2007. She is also a certified shiatsu practitioner, with 3 years of training at the Shiatsu School Kreuzberg. She holds a Master Degree in Music and in a not-so-distant past, she has played flute in both highbrow classical settings and progressive theaters in Berlin. While still a musician at heart, her present instrument is the body.

Warum sollte ich Zen Yoga by Dynamic Mindfulness besuchen?

Zen Yoga teaches contemporary yoga style rooted in Zen Buddhism and informed by latest movement science and biomechanics. All classes are in English (German translation available for selected classes) and limited to 15 participants.

Was muss ich für meinen ersten Besuch wissen?

Great to hear you are interested in taking Zen Yoga classes! After purchasing a drop-in class or a 3-class-intro you can just show up, no specific registration is needed. It is recommended arriving 15-10 mins prior to the beginning of the class. This way you will have time to sign in.

Muss ich eigenes Equipment bringen oder kann ich mir auch etwas ausborgen?

All kinds of props are there for you to use freely: mats, blankets, meditation pillows, bolsters, blocks, basically everything! You can of course always bring a mat if you prefer to bring your own. Wear comfortable clothing that you can bend and move freely in.

Was soll ich tun wenn ich gebucht habe aber doch nicht kommen kann?

Since there are offered small size classes with personal attention, the cancellation policy is 12 hours. If you cancel later that that, you will be charged full ammount.

Entrance to the studio is in the first back yard. The nearest stations: 3 minutes from U Gleisdreieck (U1, U2, U15) 2 minutes from bus station Schöneberger Brücke (M29) 5 minutes from S Anhalterbahnhof (S1, S2, S26) 10 minutes from U Möckernbrücke (U1, U7, U15) There are public parking spots around.
