This time, it will be all about the authentic, oldschool ATS including the very classic turban look!

Why wearing a turban to Tribal Night you ask yourself?

Well, we'd simply like to celebrate spring with you! The very flowers of spring are the beautiful tulips, that actually have their origin in Persia and Turkey. Tulips got their name from the Turkish word 'Gauze' (a special fabric with which turbans were wrapped with) reflecting the turban-like appearance of a tulip in full bloom.

What are we going to do at Tribal Night?

17:20 Arrival, preparation and getting-to know-each-other

17:40 -18:10 Learning how to wrap the turban in order to create an iconic ATS-look

Please bring square and/or triangular scarves, one fresh tulip flower as well as some other ATS flowers and some jewellery). We want to practice turban binding and try different variants. And with flowers and jewelry you can jazz up.

What are the 'Performance Project Presentations' going to be about?

We really love to see your beautiful dance! Besides, we are aiming to encourage dancers to improve their performance and stage presence skills. Therefore, we would like to invite you to prepare a dance piece for showcasing at Tribal Night. Of course, you are also very welcome to be a supportive audience instead!

If you would like to perform, please inform us before March 17th about your (Tribal) dance style, number of dancers, music (length of the music: solo - 3min max.; duet, trio and quartet - 7min max.; group dance - 10min max.).

Miscellaneous:Please note that we cannot offer a real stage with proper stage settings. You're going to perform in our studio classroom and we're already looking forward to it :-)

Participants of the party: You can bring your own music, please feel free to bring any ATS props for dancing (zills, fan, sword, basket, skirts, manton, etc.). You can also bring some snacks and drinks.
