Are you curious what Ashtanga yoga is all about? Have you tried it but you are not yet sure if it’s for you? Then we invite you to join us for the “Introduction to Ashtanga Yoga” workshop on 08.08.2020.
In this 2,5 hour workshop you will learn about the foundations of the ashtanga yoga practice. We will look at the importance of breath, bandha (energy locks), and dristi (gazing points). We will also cover some of the philosophical aspects of the practice.
Elaine will guide you through Surya Namaskar A and B as well as the standing sequence. There will be time to practice and repeat the sequence in order to build a self-practice, and ask any question you might have about it. The workshop is suitable for yoga practitioners of all levels. Beginners are welcome.
