Learn the Art of giving 'Hands-on Assists' using the biomechanics of the body.

(YACEP training / meaning you can count the hours towards your Yoga Alliance Continous Education Hours.)

During this weekend you will learn different techniques how to best support your yoga students with hands on assists. We will look into general hands-on principles and together learn the hands on basics for the key Group Asanas. Further we will practice how to assists during the flow of the class e.g. during Sun Salutations.

One focus will be training the teachers eye how to read the student individual alignment and skeletability to provide hands-on that support the student in their own practice whilst honouring the individual anatomy of body. Together we will discover, which assists and adjusts are purposeful in which context and for which student.

The weekend has sufficient time for individual questions and practical application. You will be working with the other teachers to practice the different techniques and learn from each other.

Please bring comfortable Yoga cloth and if you like a notepad and pen, maybe your camera.

The module is open to yoga teachers and teachers in training interested to deepen their knowledge of hands-on techniques.

The weekend is taught in English. Training Credit: 15 hours (YACEP training)

Upon completing the module you will receive a certificate to receive your Yoga Alliance Continous Education hours.

Her classes reach from meditative, inwards focused Yin Yoga to strong, breath focused Vinyasa Flow Yoga classes.

Cancellations

All registrations are final and non-refundable. The spot is secured through payment of the entire fee. Teacher Training spots can be transferred to another candidate if you cannot participate. Due to the advanced notice required in arranging teacher trainings, changes are only possible if requested 2 weeks prior to the commencement of the training. In the event that a course or workshop is cancelled, registered students are eligible for a refund or may select an alternative and equally priced course or workshop option.
