3 hours of Yoga and Breathwork to align your body and mind for the emergence of life in Spring.

Learn how to use your breath in Asanas to go deeper than you have ever been before. Release the remnants of the slow and heavy feels of winter, and bring the lightness of Spring back into your being. Get ready to align your life with your heart’s compass, and activate the inner alchemy that will make your dreams become reality.

The workshop will be divided into 3 parts. In the first part we will explore what our breath can tell us about the state of our health and vitality, and how we can use our breath in Yoga to become more healthy and fit. In the second part we will move through various Asanas and Marcus will show you how to use your breath to come into perfect alignment. To finish the workshop, Marcus will lead you through a SOMA Breath®️ Energized Meditation, in order to set an intention of Saying Yes to Life and to manifest that intention deep into the cells of your being. 

Free from the past winter heaviness, and aligned with your heart, you will be leaving the workshop inspired to tackle life as it comes at you, gracefully, focussed and with a smile on your face.

Learning Contents:

- Breath and how it affects our health and vitality. How do you measure your state of health and vitality using your breath. Breathwork exercises that will help you come into a better shape.

- Unique Alignment cues based on breath and bandhas that will help you to use your breath for the best asana alignment possible. I am pretty sure you won’t find these cues anywhere else.

- SOMA Breath®️ Energized Meditation Learn all about this modern interpretation of ancient pranayama. Balance your nervous systems while breathing in beats to funky music, and connect with the idea of you, in the stillness of long breath holds.

Teacher Info:

I am Marcus. I am a Yoga practitioner for more than 13 years. I have been teaching 24/7 from 2016 until 2021 before taking a break to recallibrate my approach to teaching and redefining my role as a yoga teacher. In the recent 2 years I have focussed my studies on human perception and how our minds and bodies create the reality we perceive. Along with a training as SOMA Breath®️ Instructor, these studies have given me a profound understanding of how Yoga works within the body, and what it is that we are trying to achieve when we come to our mat for our practice. For me, Yoga is a state of being, our natural state of being. It is this state of being in which we meet the here and now free from the experiences, and resulting assumptions and conclusions, we have made in the past. It is the state of being, in which we openly welcome life, embracing the potential, the possibilities that each moment holds for us rather than focussing on what is limiting us to make our dreams reality. 

The practice of Yoga is designed to enable us to remain in that state, or to bring us back into that state. Life happens inside of us. It is when we are conscious to how our environment affects our inner life and our impulsive responses, that we can rise beyond the mind, and act out of the love and strength from our heart.

Cancellations

All registrations are final and non-refundable. The spot is secured through payment of the entire fee. Teacher Training spots can be transferred to another candidate if you cannot participate. Due to the advanced notice required in arranging teacher trainings, changes are only possible if requested 2 weeks prior to the commencement of the training. In the event that a course or workshop is cancelled, registered students are eligible for a refund or may select an alternative and equally priced course or workshop option.
