Childbirth Preparation Workshop

Prepare yourself for labor, birth and the postpartum period through this Childbirth Preparation workshop. An afternoon that will help you feel empowered, inspired and grounded in your journey towards motherhood, through all four trimesters of pregnancy. 

The workshop blends the ‘theory’ of pregnancy, labor, birth and the postpartum period with guided practices, reflections, and sharings coming from Yoga, Ayurveda, Hypnobirthing and Rebozo practices. Lidewij draws from her own experience as a mom of two, her work as a full spectrum doula and postpartum therapist. 

What to expect : 
- the physiology of pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum 
- stages of labor
- envisioning your birth preferences & tools to create your birth plan / intentions
- natural pain relief & comforting techniques
- intervention in childbirth, pain medications, informed decisions
- positions, breathing practices, partner support & Rebozo techniques 

Open to all mother at any stage of their pregnancy.
No previous experience with yoga required.
