Your RETREAT DEPOSIT AND TUITION entitles you to take part in the yoga sessions at Teima, Portugal, a small family operated Bed and Breakfast in SW Alentejo from September 16- 20, 2020 with Gillian Wagner. You will need to pay for your room separately. Room prices depend on the category. We currently have one larger room (Branco) and two suites (Amber and Agua) available starting at 800 Euro for four nights including breakfast. This price is for the room and not per person. You are required to book your flights and cancellation insurance independently. The closest airport is FARO, but you can also fly into LISBON. Our first yoga class is on Wednesday night (16 September), last class will be Sunday morning (20 September).

Teima’s lush countryside and wide green areas are ideal for hiking or for a relaxing stroll through nature. There's a lake at the end of the property where you'll find the most comfortable hanging chairs, where you can literally "hang", relax and watch baby ducks, swallows and butterflies. Teima is also home to a few horses, donkeys and goats that if you wish to, you can visit during your stay,

First thing in the morning (8 am) we will meet and practice a mobilising, energising flow yoga. Afterwards, a carefully customised and delicious breakfast will be served in the property's breakfast room, overlooking the outdoor swimming pool. In the afternoons, we will meet again (5.30pm) for a gentle stretch and relax session. All yoga includes breathing techniques, and guided or silent meditation as well as carefully instructed geometric alignment. You will not be required to wear a mask during sessions and Gillian will use her trademark crystal clear cueing to help you understand the poses. You will be required to bring your own yoga mat.

Throughout your stay, if you wish to explore the area, fear not, dear yogi :) Teima will provide you with a list of the best places to visit nearby such as, Brejão, Odeceixe or Zambujeira do Mar, where the views are spectacular and food is ridiculously fresh and extremely delicious. The wild and secluded beaches of the Atlantic are Carvalhal, Machados and Amália, all approximately 5 km from the property. Odemira is a 23-minute drive away, while Odeceixe is 10 km from the unit.

TEIMA, Alentejo SW is a 90-minute drive from Faro International Airport and has been awarded the stamp of "Clean and Safe" from the Portuguese board of Tourism.
