In the Garden of Silence

A special concert where participants are invited to remain silent, close their eyes, and connect with sound in its entirety. This spiritual sound meditation allows immersion in emotions, reflection on the present, and connection with nature and the spirits around us. ‘IN THE GARDEN OF SILENCE’ comes from a poem by Violeta Parra (notorious Chilean singer-songwriter), in which she pays tribute to loved ones who have passed and become part of the universe and nature:

"They take him captive
to the earthly prison,
they are going to deposit him
in the garden of silence.”

The ritual will be dedicated to our bodies, to nature, and to the sacred spirits within it.
XIVIS (Sophie Burrell and Salvador Burrell) will offer a sound meditation inspired by the Andes, featuring wind instruments, bird sounds, bowls, percussion, rattles, seeds, horns, and highland folk instruments (Quena, Zampona, Cultrun, Charango), blended with electric guitars and voices through a loop station into a single sound vibration.
