Join us for a special event with guest teacher Kadam Tim Larcombe from our sister center in Copenhagen, Denmark. We will explore the topic of self-worth beyond the confines of professional success and societal - or even familial - expectations.
Discover how meditation can help you become aware of and deepen your experience of your own sense of self-worth and thus empower you to develop a truly sustainable, healthy self-confidence that is independent of external circumstances and expectations of others.
In today’s world, it's all too common to tie our self-worth to our accomplishments. For some of us, our self-worth is also deeply tied to approval by people we admire or feel dependent on. Either way, the resultant pressure to perform can take a toll on our well-being, leaving us feeling insecure and unsure of ourselves - in other words: lacking actual self-confidence. True self-confidence is necessarily based on a sustainable sense of our value as a person, our self-worth independent of external evaluation. During this afternoon, Kadam Tim will guide you through meditation experiences and explain Buddhist insights, that allow you to develop an authentic, centered and sustainable sense of self-worth and self-confidence.
