Sequential Flow: From Impulse to Expression is a workshop that explores the understanding and refinement of sequential impulses and energetic pathways within the body. It focuses on working with physical impulses in a deliberate and specific way to create a clear fluidity and a charged physical presence.
The workshop is divided into two components: a technique class to warm up and ground the dancers, followed by choreographic phrases, movement invention tasks, and improvisational scores that gradually introduce participants into the research of Sequential Flow.
The research lies at the intersection of modern and contemporary dance techniques, utilising release and recovery explorations in the body that can be translated into movement in space, upright, or on the floor. The class begins with structured exercises to warm up body and mind, awakening the spine and allowing warmth to radiate outward. At the heart of the research is the joy of movement, combined with the desire to push through physical and mental barriers.

Up to 3 days before the workshop begins we will refund 50% of the workshop fee.
Later than this we do not refund any fees. The booking can alternatively be transferred to another person.
