Dance and Improvisation: Deepening

This course will push for more specificity and complexity in our dance vocabulary. It’s aimed at movers with a base in contemporary dance who are ready to jump into sequences, tasks and explorations. In this class we want to build the flow of a dance class, so that there will be at times less explanation and more focus on doing, repeating and experiencing.

We will work on:

•⁠ ⁠different movement qualities

•⁠ ⁠longer and more advanced dance sequences

•⁠ ⁠Tasks and improvisation that at times invite acrobatic elements

•⁠ ⁠Instant composition / moving alone or as a group
