Ho’listic Heels

This workshop focuses on the fundamental aspects of standing heel technique as well as floorwork. Learn the basics of heels technique for a solid standing leg and a playful supporting leg, in enabling expressive movements down to your toes. Learn how to use high heels as a natural extension of your line and how to skillfully play with your platform edges to revolutionise your dance in heels.

Learn how to shift your weight sensibly, control your stance, understand where ankle stability comes from, and why attitude plays a significant role.

Prerequisites: Introductory experience dancing in heels (minimum 4 weeks). Also highly recommended for more experienced dancers.
